BEHIND DR. FRANZ
Biosensor Laboratories, the creator of FRANZ, is a biotech company who researches and develops skin treatment using their novel and proprietary non-invasive transdermal drug delivery technology system (TDDS) and bio-mimic materials.
Biosensor Laboratories spent over 5 years and $10 million collaborating with Korea’s top scientists and dermatologists to develop Tissue XTM, a revolutionary TDDS which increases permeability of the epidermis allowing enhanced delivery of therapeutic agents into the dermis. The technology has been applied to skin rejuvenation, treatment of acne, pigmentary disorders and reduction of inflammation with ongoing research & development of applications into treatment of hair loss and atopic dermatitis.
FRANZ is the first commercialized brand using TissueX technology.
Dr. FRANZ face masks is our professional line of products exclusively sold by doctors and spas.
TREATING THE DERMIS WITH IONTOPHORESIS
Biosensor Laboratories discovered an ingenious way, using the principles of reverse electrodialysis, to naturally generate microcurrents sufficient to create an iontophoresis effect to increase the permeability of the epidermis, all without external energy sources.
By eliminating the need for batteries or devices, the technology is malleable and can be applied to various consumer products including disposable sheet masks, enabling the birth of the world’s first green energy microcurrent face mask, that can be administered by patients in the comfort of their homes.
Tissue XTM is a proprietary technology with 8 registered patents and 41 pending patents.
FIRST AT HOME IONTOPHORESIS TECHNOLOGY WITHOUT BATTERIES OR DEVICE
The structure of the epidermis limits absorption of therapeutic agents such as hyaluronic acids, ceramides, collagen, peptides and vitamins into the dermis to promote skin rejuvenation.
Current office-based technology widely used by doctors and aestheticians to penetrate the epidermal barrier include micro-needling and direct injections of therapeutic agents into the dermis.
Non-invasive methods include iontophoresis technology, which delivers ionized materials into dermis using electric current.
However, existing technologies were too cumbersome to be commercialized into at-home used consumer product.
DR.FRANZ MICROCURRENT MASK PRODUCT COMPONENTS
Our signature professional grade DR. FRANZ Microcurrent Dual Face Masks has three components:
Natual superfine-fiber mask infused with various active ingredients such as low-molecular weight hyaluronic acid, ceramics, peptides, vitamins, etc.
Serum to activate the micro current in Empowering Mask. The micro current is activated by applying the Boosting Essence on the two micro ion-cells on the Empowering Mask.
Dry mask using patented TissueX
microcurrent technology creating iontophoresis treatment.
